Yes, we now have a blog. For our first effort, Brian has updated and expanded his classic, “.INF Files for Bears of Little Brain”, originally published in WD-3.
We’ll be posting articles of interest to “internals people”, to people who write applications for Windows, people who administer and maintain Windows, people who do a lot of debugging. and people who just want to understand more about what Task Manager and the many other available tools are telling them. And, of course, to driver writers. And people into Windows security. And… you get the idea.
Since we’re working on the 7th edition of Windows Internals (covering Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2), we’ll also be writing about some of the things we’re finding in our research.
Let us know if you have any suggestions for articles. Comments will be enabled, but you’ll need to create an account to leave them (and there’s a Captcha). We will exercise some discretion over comments, but pretty much anything on-topic and non-abusive will be left alone.
And of course, if you’d like to publish an article of your own here, we’re interested!
